Radar loops look like it's been dumping rain up there for about 24 hours straight.

Considering this may make its way to BR later tonight/tomorrow, just trying to get an idea of what we're in for.

Shreveport is flooding. Schools closed. My wife's store is closed.

I could barely get out of my driveway this morning. Hopefully someone doesn't end up in my yard like last time it flooded like this.

My house is pier and beam so I'm not worried about water in my house...yet.

Over 14 inches at my wife's sisters house in Shreveport. And it's been raining a lot too.

Do any of the interstates around Shreveport flood? I have to come though there tomorrow on my way to Dallas.

It's going to be a long 3 days for NW LA. Minden has received over 8" in the last 24 Hrs and is expecting another 5" today and 7" thru Friday.

24-hr totals so far.

The radio said the downtown airport hit 10" at 4 am... It hasn't let up since. In fact it intensified about 7:30 when I was heading to work.

What about the houses that are on the wrong side of the levee?

I've been told part of I-20 closed. As I drove by on my way to Minden the DOTD was looking over a bridge by Dixie Inn and the water was about to come over. I've been told they have since closed it going East bound.

As long as I-20 is good from Shreveport to the Texas line, and I-49 south is good I'll be good. I shouldn't have to go east of Shreveport.

Northwestern State closed today. Will I-49 be closed from Alexandria to Shreveport if all these inches come hammering down?

I know someone who lives very close to where you're talking about. He flooded out at 3 am this morning.

I thought the majority of the heavy rain was staying to the NW of BR? They're only projecting 4-6" last I heard
