Someone mentioned the CFL Shreveport Pirates.

I had season tickets and a gold parking pass.

Longer, Wider, Faster!

I can still hear Forrest Gregg yelling at receiver "Smoke" (Chris Tucker type) at practice that he needed to shut his mouth and get his arse back to work.

I was in Shreveport for 2 days years ago.
Was quite good.
Was it open 24 hours?

Billy Joe Tolliver and his wife took a tour of Jim Harral's Fitness World on Youree and balked at the facilities.

Place was a dump. I think the co-Ed wet area sealed the disgust.

George D'Artois holed up in the attic,
Being the only High School in the state that got out at 1:15,
Crystal Palace,
Shakey's Pizza,
Hamels Dairy
Soto Records,
Stan's Records,
Cobbs BBQ.
Chasing St. Vincent skirts.
Oh can't forget Glenwood Theater next to Byrd for all your porn needs.
Piermont Mall the only mall in S'port,
Nothing but cotton fields from Youree & 70th going south,
Broadmoor Theater
Magic Mushroom hunting out on Ellerbe Road
Doing blotter and then going to betty Virgina to see all the pretty colors

Good stuff! Don't forget the Don Drive-in in Bossier, where the mall is now.

Swimming lessons at the Barksdale AFB Airmen's pool. I'll never forget the sound of those B-52s warming up on runway nearby. We couldn't hear ourselves think when those things rev'd up.

I wish we could get affiliated baseball back. It would take a new stadium. Fair Grounds Field is rotting away and in a horrible location. Maybe build a new one right north of Margaritaville. Incorporate it into the boardwalk/casino in some way. Loved going to Captains games as a kid.
