I was in Shreveport this weekend and I don't know that I've ever seen so many enormous churches in one city. They were more complexes than churches.

Do they hold the record for most mega churches for one city?

I only know 1 church in Shreveport that I would consider a "mega church" and that is Broadmoor Baptist

Bethany in Baker isn't too small either.

Houston seems to house a lot of mega churches and popular evangelists.

Every where you find a mega church, there's a crook running it.

Shreveport has mini churches compared to DFW, although Summer Grove bought a mall to put their church in it's not near as big congregation wise as these monstrosities in the DFW area

One of the biggest churches, congregation wise, doesn't even have it's own building.

The Houston Rockets used to play there. Crazy to think that a former NBA arena is now a church.
