frick you alter, but northern Louisiana shits on southern Louisiana when it comes to waterfowl/deer. Fishing is completely different story though.

Depends on what you want to fish for. I have found bass fishing is better in North Louisiana, but that may be related to where specifically I had access to in North Louisiana

I much prefer Lafayette BUT based on these qualifiers, I cant argue with this

The Carlyss area to the southwest of Lake Charles, due south of Sulphur, is really nice for hunting and fishing. I'm working down here and I've actually thought about purchasing a camp down here.

I didn't say Shreveport, just pointing out my personal experience bass fishing. I live in Lafayette, have all my life. Would put Shreveport last on the list. Probably would rank LC ahead of Lafayette for most of what the OP listed. Except weirdos, plenty of weirdos in LC

I think they kill more ducks around Hackberry than the the rest of LA combined so not sure you want to go there on ducks but I will say that public hunting for ducks in Mecca is way better. Fishing in Mecca is good too but the salt outweighs fresh water all day.

I actually want to leave TX and move to Lake Chuck.

definitely Lafayette. Surrounded by some good fishing spots too. Not sure about the hunting. Unless you're talking about cougar hunting

Lafayette is easily the best city out of those 3 options, but probably has the most amount of weirdos. I have no idea about the outdoors, though.

Lake Charles and Shreveport are pretty awful.

The p4p scene in Lc is laughable at best, few texas mercenaries on weekends

Laffy has friendlier people and better nightlife.
