Why can't the city spec in the right pumps for hurricane flooding then these storms would be nothing. Because they stole most of the grant money and went with something substandard. That is the norm for most S&WB projects as well as the Bourbon Street Upgrade nepotism debacle etc...

Everything is about theft...worked with them long enough to see the shell game...

It should be easy to have a camera 24-7 looking at every pump station on the intake and output side. I know from experience that the canal near Palmetto street in New Orleans looks like a raging river when the pump is on. Then there would be no doubt when and whether they were on or not.
