I use them 2-3 times. The towels do accumulate dead skin and bacteria that eats the dead skin.
However, if you hang the towel up so that air can hit both sides of the towel it will dry pretty quickly and kill a lot of the bacteria.
And for you snowflakes worried about bacteria here's a news flash. You have more bacteria cells in your body than human cells. It's unavoidable. Think about that when you go to sleep tonight you pussies.

Lots of people full of shite in this thread.

I'm not worried about bacteria or anything like that. I just think it is gross. But to each his own. Not judging anyone if they want to reuse towels or not.

I'll use mine twice. I feel fairly certain I was clean the 1st time I used it.

yes

Question for the people who wash their towels after every use... do you also wash your sheets and pillowcases every day?
Unless you shower right before bed every night, you are a lot cleaner when you use that towel than when you get in bed.

I use one for about a week.

Apples and oranges. A towel is wet and has to dry. A bed may have tons of dead skin cells but never smell bad. So while I see your point, the wetness and drying of the towel as well as the direct contact with skin/body parts is more likely to smell bad than the sheets and pillowcase under normal use (assuming you don't sleep naked, vomit, piss or shite on your sheets or sweat profusely that night). That doesn't mean that it is cleaner or that there isn't issues with the sheets...just the perception of clean and lack of odor.

Disagree, because if you hang your towel out to dry properly it won't smell bad at all. Plus it's in contact with my body for a lot less time than my sheets/pillow case, and right after I've scrubbed myself in the shower removing plenty of dead skin before using the towel.
Yeah, one that has been tossed in the corner and not allowed to air dry will be nasty. I wouldn't ever reuse that towel.

I use a towel at home twice before washing. If staying in a hotel I'm changing every time. I'm not doing the washing and hotel rooms aren't the cleanest

Same here. Then I use it as a jizz towel before I finally wash it.

Using only one towel to dry off is disgusting. I use one for my head, one for my torso, and one for below the waist. None get reused.
