It’s against the law in Florida to CC in a place of worship. I’m sure PA has much more restrictive laws.

I think it’s ridiculous to ban a congregation from protecting themselves.

Yes. It helped those 4 cops who were shot to have guns didn't it?

Oh wait...

Not illegal in Pennsylvania.

And not illegal in Louisiana with proper training and OK from leader(s) of church/synagogue/mosque.

Among protestant churches in LA concealed carry is extremely common among church members, some churches have sponsored private CCL classes for their congregation.

In a gun fight it is always better to have a gun. How many more people would have been killed if the cops had not shot the gunman, how many fewer people would have been killed had someone in the temple shot the gun instead of having to wait for the police?

My church back in my hometown has 10 people who rotate concealed carrying every service. No one outside of those 10 knows who it is.

Have been doing it for two years and recommend every congregation to do so.

I will say this is a cowboy church with a congregation of like 75 people.

Every law abiding citizen not convicted of a felony should carry a gun.

This is where I disagree. If I think about all the people I know who are not a felon.. I am actually glad a lot of them don't carry a gun.

Tell me how everyone not a felon, carrying a gun would be better? There would be a rise in murders for one. Do you realize people have emotions? They react on emotions..

why not have an armed guard near the front door like just about every church does in red states these days?

I’ve never seen an armed guard posted up at any Nola area or BR Catholic Church.

I would not be surprised if this was common at some baptist church in rural town in the south though.

Some Catholic Churches now have Security Teams carrying concealed and fully abiding by LA law. It is a shame that we cannot all just worship in peace without having to worry but the world has many evil people who think nothing of shooting up a church. If you think you are safe in any state in the US you are sadly nieve

All good baws should get their concealed carry license, regardless of race or religion. The world would be a much safer place

I am sure the baw who shot up the Jews and cops considered himself to be a good baw.

It’s a sad day if we need armed guards at schools and church’s.
