Should I get the flu shot with this corona thing taking off.

I have only had the flu shot once and it was because I was at a well visit and I agreed to get one. I did get the flu that year, so never got another shot after that one. Anyway the wife(no pics) was talking to a doctor friend of hers and flipped out because I'am the only one in the house that does not have the flu shot. I'am old now (54) so I guess I'll turn in my man card and get one. I rarely get the flu. Anyone a dumb arse like me and never get one.

Yes, you should get the flu shot. If you believe in statistics, you should get a flu shot.
Just because you can get the flu after a flu shot, doesn’t mean that the shot didn’t help you. It probably cut you suffering in half.

The coronavirus is not the influenza virus. Getting the flu shot will not prevent you from getting the coronavirus. There is no vaccine (yet) for this strain of coronavirus, which is why it's spreading so fast.
But you should get the flu shot. So you have a better chance of not getting the flu

The wife scared me when she started yelling at me about getting it. She never yells at me, hell we hardly even talk. So when she started yelling, I knew she meant business.

It only takes one time and you will be first in line next season to get one. The flu is no joke. Feels like glass in your lungs.
