I understand but most schools have a zero tolerance policy. Otherwise what would they do to be fair? Investigate every fight to see who started it? They have to be consistent and i would imagine that plenty of kids that didn't start fights have already been suspended.

You would have to side with Zimmerman if he had continued to engage in self defense even after a cop intervened, in order to be consistent here.

Zimmerman was instructed not to approach Travon Martin and did so anyways.I don't have to side with Zimmerman to be consistent. Zimmerman's defense was that he was standing his ground. So if Zimmerman stood his ground so did the victim in this video.
