I prefer whatever type/brand/firmness your mom has. I sleep like a baby on that thing.

Your mom's stains on my current mattress is what prompted this post. Hydrogen peroxide coupons for her birthday.

Sleep number. King size. You'll sleep great and your wife/gf/bf can have all the space they want without crowding you.

Tempurpedic is all I would consider. Other folks may like something else, but I love our Tempurpedic. They cost about the same everywhere you go, like an iPhone.

We bought a beauty rest black hybrid last year and its awesome. It was between that and the "cool" temperpedic. I'm very satisfied with what we got.

Go with what you know you like. I made the mistake of buying a super soft mattress when I know I slept well on a firm. It may feel good for 30 seconds at the store.

I have a Simmons Beauty Rest that I love. It is a hybrid spring and memory foam. One thing to keep in mind: the bound of the mattress for sex does matter.

I find tempurpedic mattresses to be too warm.

I just bought a king Sealy "opticool" memory foam mattress. It's been great so far.

Can be comfortable but they are hot and are awful for sex.

I got a complete memory foam bed for too much money. Don't do it. It is an effort to climb in and out off. My wife and I slide together during the night (we call it the taco bed because that is how you end up). The lack of bounce really made late night activities require more effort. It's the next thing to get replaced.

I have a 10 year old queen size. Not too many stains. Mostly beer.

Bring a black-light if you don't believe me. It does smell like a combo of bleach and 5 day old salmon.
