Detectives identified the suspect as Andre Leslie Bedford through store surveillance footage following two separate incidents on Monday at the Albertsons on Southfield Road.
Authorities said Bedford used a store-provided motorized scooter during both visits to gather groceries before leaving the store without paying.
Bedford is currently wanted on charges of habitual theft. Department records show he has 37 prior theft convictions.

Common sense would say there is a number between 1 and 37 where you just realize he's hopeless and just put him away for life. Ridiculous you keep stealing and no real consquences.

To be fair, that Albertson's makes you self checkout and the kiosks are too small to do shite with. Stacking shite like an idiot on that little metal table top. I blame Albertson's. There's also an almost unbearable sewerage smell by the pharmacy that they can't get their arms around.

I don't think that number 37 means separate instances. It means 37 items total. So potentially it could have only been one prior arrest if he stole 37 items at once. I think.. I just don't believe it's possible to move through the slow as hell legal system 37 times in one lifetime.

If we Make the judges put 20% of their pay in the kitty, to cover damages that criminals they let go continue to do, this bullshite would stop.
Or, if they had dragged judge number 10 out in the street and horsewhipped him, in front of all of the other judges, the" Let them all go" attitude would have changed immediately.

Baw lives in an apartment on Red Fox Trail. The odd thing is that it is an Altima-type apartment and he lives right by the pool.
