That couldn’t be further from the truth. And I’m convinced you only know about “the hood” from what you read about.
There’s a difference between dialing 911 and speaking to the cops. Trust me 911 is on speed dial in “the hood”, Police, EMS, Fire..all day and all night.

True. Actual calls I've been on in the hood when I worked at the sheriff's office:
My son/daughter won't listen to me.
My neighbor cut my grass.
My neighbor throws cigarette buts in my yard.
My wife/husband yelled at me/disrespected me.
Suspicious vehicle (usually directv/cox)
My neighbor looked at me funny. (I just want to file a report in case he do something)
My kids won't go to school.

Hell,I can top those...I responded to a call where the complainant was pissed that the next door neighbor had a crab boil going on and didn't invite them.
