This absolutely exists and was not a hoax . It was a joint statement by presidents of both schools
Some random person on a message board posted something? Why are university presidents commenting on that at all?

My guess is to hopefully avoid situations like what’s occurred in Jackson today

quote:I'm no Southern Miss fan, as I believe they and old miss should be absorbed into the TGrind mothership, but that "statement" about fan behavior was in no way released by Southern Miss. It popped up on X and was circulated, then black people took it as the gospel truth thinking Southern Miss released it.
when southern Miss came out with a pregame statement about fan behavior and treating fans with respect
I mean, none of it was wrong, but it wasn't official.
But it wasn't wrong.

The joint statement was to help cool the typical overreaction towards a newly created profile’s statement on a fan group social media site.
The subject of article calls it racist, but it’s pointed at JSU making the “disrespectful” above more accurate. Hattiesburg is over 50% black. The profile wasn’t pointing out the blacks at USM or the ones in Hattiesburg as being the potential problem or bad tippers.
As usual a sista had to stir the pot. Went to Howard and is a HBCU “sports fanatic” and co-host of something called HBCU Nightly. Sounds dark…

A highly disrespectful social media post surfaced online ahead of Friday afternoon’s Jackson State vs. Southern Miss college football game. The post, shared in the Southern Miss fan group “Eagle Post,” outlined offensive “rules” directed at JSU fans attending the game.
…The post came from an account named “Rye Stanford,” which was deleted following backlash from both Jackson State and Southern Miss fans. The account seemed newly created, with only a few public photos. Although it joined the “Eagle Post” group on September 16, 2023, the profile offered no details about the user's workplace, education, or relationships.

quote:Just follow any police department on FB or any news outlet who covers such things and read the comments on the violent crime stories. Same thing all the time.
What’s even crazier is in various Facebook posts, people have been asking “gee what do these places all have in common?” And the black folks do NOT like it being pointed out .

LSU can’t really judge.
We had two shootings tonight.
1. Dude shot himself in the dick
2. Hoodrats exchanged fire by law school

LSU had a couple of shootings today too.
LSU is becoming more like a HBCU school every fall thanks to their past 2 former presidents, and this is what purchased diversity gets the alumni too focused on sports as a measure of how the university was doing under its former math is racist President. Idiots actual bought the increasing ACT scores while ignoring it was voluntary and reported by less than 50% of 2024 freshman and also used the super score for its comparison of prior composite scores.
Trying to get poor blacks to come to LSU by making objective testing voluntary and pushing a broken culture gets on campus shootings during games and other times. It also brought the Honors Dorm Sista Brawl of 2022, the highland road sista street fight, and many other colorful events.
Looking at freshmen orientation week party videos I thought they were doing a crossover with Southern until I saw the same thing in the actual meetings for LSU freshmen.

I’ve heard from a pretty good source that it’s closer to 25% that report a score these days.

The was pretty much the nail in the coffin for me thinking about my kids at LSU. My wife has no connection to LSU. Grew up in Houston like me and went to Texas state. She’s discussed my boys and me wanting them to go to LSU and has been surprised when I’ve said I’d rather them just go to A&M or even Texas State or another second tier school in Texas.

My Grannie and her whole family lived less than a mile from the JSU campus in the 1950’s and 1960’s. By the time my kids came along, I couldn’t even drive through there is the broad daylight to show them her place. This is what happens when Federal policies encourage the baby mammas to breed like rabbits and there’s no father’s involvement to keep all those kids from becoming criminals.
