People were outside practicing baseball and some insane frick targeted them. Forget the political bull shite for a little while. Yes, it seems like the shooter was targeting Republicans, but let's be honest. This guy was down right crazy. It is obvious, because no one in their right mind goes out and tries to kill people because they support something different than their views.
And I think that some of you don't realize that just because members of congress are part of one party doesn't mean they do not associate with members from another party. It is actually possible to still be friends with a person although you don't agree on certain things. For those talking about how Scalise would be pissed if he knew Mitch was calling him his friend. Politicians have to be careful what the public sees them doing. If Scalise is seen hanging out with Mitch and they are being friendly, the people on both sides, who are hard core.. Will see that as each other not being who they are suppose to be.
Anyway, this is something that shouldn't happen to anyone and if anything, at least the only person who was killed was the crazy dumb shite who went out there to shoot up members of congress.
Shut the frick up. You're making zero fricking sense with this pussy arse post.

Scalise critical at hospital.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Steve Scalise remains in critical condition after undergoing surgery Wednesday morning, his office said.
Scalise, 51, was struck in the hip when James Hodgkinson opened fire on him and dozens of other Republican lawmakers at an Alexandria, Va., baseball field who were practicing for a charity game scheduled for Thursday night.
MedStar Washington Hospital, where Scalise is being treated, said he was critically injured.

I think you need to open your eyes to the world we live in. This is exactly people have been killing each other for thousands of years.

Holy shite.............NOLA.com stole their website layout from syracuse.com
They're all owned by the same company, Advance Media. Advance is the company that took the Times Pic from a daily print paper.
AL.com, NOLA.com, Syracuse.com, etc.

Alternative dispute resolution is arguably the primary purpose of civilization. Rule of law, etc. etc.

I don't disagree with you. However, when pushed to perceived limits innate responses take over and rational thought goes out the window.

Was he always in critical condition? Or does this mean he got worse?

Just shut up dude. You have no idea what you are talking about. You don't have to be crazy to target people for political killings, you need only be a zealot. Convoluting political assassination and violence with mental illness is complete and utter bullshite.
Shooting up a school of Kindergartners because you are depressed is mental illness. This is calculated political violence.

Stable was the word used earlier in the day. They said he was in stable condition leaving the field and when he got to the hospital.

It does to me as well. I read 'critical but stable".

Exactly.
You can also be crazy AND target people for political killings, too. Being crazy doesn't preclude someone from being motivated to specifically target others with opposing ideologies.

Typical pussy liberal.
They continue to poke the bear, poke the bear, poke the bear. Time is coming where the bear will poke back.
Karma is a fricking bitch, and you liberal pussies aren't going to like it, when She comes for you.

Uh, that was fringe groups. We've seen somewhat moderate liberals turn into raving lunatics.
An estimated 2 million+ women marched because they were convinced Trump was going to "take away the rights of women", whatever that's supposed to mean.
You can admit it. There was never this much anti-Obama fervor ever.
