Probably because we usually don’t tend to care as much when someone that dies was a bad person. It seems more unfair when good people are killed for no reason. Those threads also show his disdain for authority and paint a different picture than the ‘he was just out for an evening jog’ narrative the media and everybody else ran with.
Still doesn’t mean he should be dead though.
