It’s a State law that you can have a gun in your vehicle even on private property where you work. Or I think the employer has to provide a safe storage place for it while at work. Naturally the employer chooses the former.

Both. After he was elected, he then gave a speech to reiterate it.

But it was definitely before he said that poor kids were just as smart as white kids.

Apparently that LeBron-Jordan argument is that important to them.

Honestly haven't had a single problem with the amazon delivery people. And I live in mid city.

Idk, we pay much better than surrounding places and similiar jobs and the hiring company they use still brings in 85% black, mostly ghetto hires in an area that isnt even close to a majority black. We've already changed our hiring company once.

I just received an update on an Amazon delivery that I was supposed to receive today, saying that the delivery is delayed.

You would think their brain had evolved enough to be able to process:

Going to work everyday: Good
Pulling a gun and shooting your coworker cuz disrespek: Bad

The law is:

quote:

D. This Section shall not apply to:
(3) Any vehicle on property controlled by a public or private employer or business entity if access is restricted or limited through the use of a fence, gate, security station, signage, or other means of restricting or limiting general public access onto the parking area, and if one of the following conditions applies:

(a) The employer or business entity provides facilities for the temporary storage of unloaded firearms.

(b) The employer or business entity provides an alternative parking area reasonably close to the main parking area in which employees and other persons may transport or store firearms in locked, privately-owned motor vehicles.

Amazon parking is definitely behind a locked fence/secure access with signage. The question is whether or not that have another place to park "reasonably close" for people who want to bring their guns.

I'm sure this unfortunate act of violence stemmed from a statistical argument over the site's week-over-week throughput metrics.
