That's typically how it happens in every case. It's why I give great latitude in cop "aggression" stories.
I have the luxury of going to work and the folks I deal with on a daily basis never have any ill will intention against me. They do not.

How did this guy envision that shooting the cop would solve his jam with the law? There is no possibility that you do that and live happily ever after.
Maybe he thought it was like Sons of Anarchy. Shoot the place up, then leave town for the weekend until the heat dies down. Resume normal life.

Looking through the shooter's Facebook and Instagram profile looks like he's a normal druggy teenager. Doesn't look like a guy who would kill a cop over some minor drug charges.
