I am not going to be so quick to assume he was secretly gay. He could have very well been planning this for a while and scoping out the place and talking to guys about where they like to go. I think it is more likely he was closeted because of using the apps but visiting the club before wouldn't mean much to me.

At first I just thought Homophobic douche, but then two things came out that made it seem odd--

What's strange to me.. I woke up late Saturday night, early Sunday AM and looked on Facebook and saw "active shooting at Orlando nightclub. This was about 2:30-3:00, "Multiple shooters" kept flashing on the NBC Orlando affiliates live feed. Witnesses were also reporting someone was at the back door, not allowing them to exit. Then, they break through the wall.. and there's only one shooter.

For people who act like know it all firearms experts and like to nitpick over terms like magazine and clip it's pretty sad that you don't already know this.
Well, if you really want to get technical, then there is no such thing as an assault weapon. It is an inflammatory statement created by the left wing government to scare ignorant people. But Im sure you already knew that. An AR-15 is an American Style Semi-Auto Sport Rifle, just like a Ruger Mini-14.
