Shooting at Orlando gay club: 50 Dead, 53 Injured, Shooter is Radical Muslim

Gay club called the Pulse in downtown Orlando. One shooter dead but possibly another shooter on the loose.

29 year old son to Afganistan Parents. He is a legal US citizen with history of being on the terrorist watch list. FBI well aware of this guy for last three years.

Omar Mateen is 31 year-old US citizen from Port St. Lucie, a town on Florida’s east coast about two hours away. Mateen’s parents are reportedly Afghani immigrants. Federal authorities say there are “suggestions” that the killer has ties to radical Islam.

Why is the news reporting this as an attack at a gay club instead of just a club? Seems like they're trying to imply motive with no evidence of any.

i also am hearing multiple deaths.. but again nothing confirmed

Yeah, just read that so I'll delete it. I'm reading 9 dead and 27 injured and then there are some saying shooters fled the scene while others saying they're still inside.
