so they're the same as 20 years ago. gotcha.

The commercial properties on Corporate and the residences in an around Webb park have been on the upswing, making the rest appear to be on the decline, when in actuality, they are the same as they always have been--moderately shitty.

I don't agree with your assertion. To each his own.

The one right there by Corporate? I never considered that part of town sketchy.

As stated previously in this thread, it's not that the entire area is sketchy. There's plenty of nice areas near that Waffle House, but the area immediately adjacent to it is Valley Park, which is less than desirable.

It is actually startling how things go from beautiful, well maintained homes to complete shithole by simply walking one block down the street. I can't think of another example of how the same neighborhood road can have such a stark contrast in such a short distance.

Driving down Terrace. If coming from Highland/Nicholson it's trash.. trash.. trash... oh, Garden District. Some pricy homes are located right there on Kleinert.

That said, Terrace is not "scary" or anything. It is my daily route. Just funny how you go from people loitering on their porches and in the street to little decorated GD homes on the same street.

What makes you think there will be "lots of updates" on this story? The story is boring
