I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but I have a problem with nola.com (who claims to be a legit news source) reporting the allegations in the suit as factual news.

Irrelevant. Regardless, I know many of the girls in my high school had huge crushes on some of the coaches. It's just laughable to me the double standard that is portrayed in these cases.

Think back to high school. There was about 80 guys in our class. If the hot teacher at our school came onto them, and made it clear she wanted to have sex, i'd say at least 50 of them would do it immediately not even thinking about it, and she could probably talk 15-20 more into doing it eventually. Hell half of those 50 would jack off on the way to having sex with her b/c they would be that excited.
Of the 80 girls, i'd say i could see maybe 5 at most would have had sex with the hot male teacher if approached the same way in the scenario above. Of those 5, i wouldn't have sex with any of them as a 16 year old back then.

If I were a high school coach, I wouldn't be giving my cell-phone number out to little girls. And if they somehow got it and sent me pics of their cooters, I'd call my boss immediately. I'm gay like that.

I never stated the male teacher would have as easy of a time finding a willing participant, as females usually require more courting, but in this specific instance Dufresne groomed/courted him with the intent of fricking him - the same as a guy would probably have to do. With all that time to think about what she was doing and the consequences, she carried on, and she still gets off with no jail time nor does she have to register as a sex offender. Do guys get that treatment?
