Yeah, well people in general tend to hate on the areas they live. That's just human nature I guess.

No it’s on another level with Louisiana. There’s zero sense of pride.

I bet she moves to Covington.

Sounds like that is specific to people you know. Otherwise the Fortune 500 count wouldn’t be 27 to 1.

Does it matter? A win is win for New Orleans at this point.

Too bad the NOLA scum politicians chased Shell corporate away decades ago.
Shell corporate has never been based in the US.

I don’t disagree. I also think it’s silly to pretend corporate executives are begging to leave Houston for New Orleans.

Ok.
When you run up on somebody doing something like a 3d printer in its infancy in Houston let us know.
Every time I go to Houston I mostly see drunk people from Louisiana that live in Houston.

Good news.
New Orleans is awesome for high income folks. Way more fun than Houston IMO. Hope they can get more people to Louisiana and their official US HQ to New Orleans.

Also popular to hate on: North Louisiana
It’s just so easy.
Most people from south Louisiana don’t really like everything north of Marksville. To them that whole part of the state is full of dull people, uptight cops, average food, and economic decay. Cajuns think that EVERY entree up there comes with some form of potatoes as a side and every house comes with satellite dishes.
North Louisiana people don’t like south Louisiana because it doesn’t feature that warm blanket of dull boredom that you can find in parts of Mississippi or southern Arkansas. They don’t trust places that eat that much rice, they hate statues of the Virgin Mary, they don’t value public artwork, and they don’t consider anyone even related to French speakers as real Americans. Of course they hate south Louisiana. They still wish LSU didn’t move out of Pineville.
It really is two states in one.
