SIAP, but Tony Soprano's isn't the only kind of crime family. Here's today's daily double.

First, as we've seen before, usually it's the grandmother saying her grandson, who the evidence indicates is a felon, "is a good boy." But here the grandmother got in on the crime:
quote:

Grandmother arrested after helping man evade police in fatal hit-and-run wreck, police say
The 73-year-old grandmother of Hunter Johnson, the man accused of a hit and run in St. Charles Parish that killed a Baton Rouge man, has been arrested and charged with obstruction of justice after helping her grandson flee the scene, State Police said.
The hit and run occurred on January 14 at 1:00 AM and claimed the life of 44-year-old construction worker Brady Ortego....
State Police say that, after fleeing the scene, Johnson contacted his grandmother, Marie Sally Dufrene, to pick him up.

Then, the in-laws wanted in on the action:
quote:

Suspect's mother-in-law wanted in Kenner armed robbery, kidnapping and shootout, police say
Kenner police say Garrat Dunmiles Jr. and his mother-in-law teamed up last fall to rob and kidnap a man at gunpoint, but the scheme went awry when the victim wrestled away the weapon and shot Dunmiles, critically injuring him....
Authorities are still searching for his mother-in-law, 51-year-old Geretha McGuin, of Houma, Cunningham said.

Of course all sympathy to Mr. Ortego's family. I thought that goes without saying. OTers can be a bit flaky, so I'm surprised by the downvotes--figured y'all would be interested to read about these two local ... crime families.

This piece of shite is connected with somebody on the inside. You can read the articles of on this guy and this isn't the first time he's done this. As a juvenile he seriously injured somebody in an accident as well, but since he was a juvenile nothing happened to this cock sucker. Also his previous attorney is now an assistant District Attorney and his current attorney is a partner to his old attorneys firm and has been assigned to the case. Its the biggest crock of backwoods shite, St Charles Parish should be ashamed and blown up for their incompetence in how this is being handled.

Especially after there was enough probable cause for the State Patrol to charge the shite head with DWI which caused the accident and subsequent death.

Connections work sometimes but in this case, it is uncalled for. Some times you are just an A-hole who skates. Awful.

He is a dick.
