Mostly true.
The crime in latin america is mostly drug and gang related. As long as you don't join a gang, flash your wealth, and stay away from underage girls, you're fine.
I am currently in Acapulco, MX. The most dangerous city in the world right now due to all the gang violence. Because nobody is visiting here, I was able to rent a penthouse on the beach for $900 a month.
I feel very safe.
The crime in latin america is mostly drug and gang related. As long as you don't join a gang, flash your wealth, and stay away from underage girls, you're fine.

I haven't been to MDE yet, but have a trip lined up christmas break with a buddy who's from there. i might not make it back alive. if navigating through Santa Fe seeking diamonds in the proverbial rough doesn't qualify as an extreme experience, then you might need to go to the phillippines.

I assume all the only girls work on tips. The $6500 is sort of like the door charge at the strip club. They feed you drugs and booze, then the hot chicks start telling you $500 for this and that. Before you know it some poor schmuck has spent $20000 in 4 days.
