Doubt it. They will probably wait until daylight. Some may chase what pops up tonight, but they probably shouldn't.

Question about RadarScope? Is there a long range or regional radar setting? Or do I just have to keep switching between, say Shreveport and Jackson, for example?

You have to switch. The row of buttons at the bottom has the one with multiple circles. It toggles between town names and radar locations. You can click on the radar you want to view on the map.
You can also add radars to a list under the main menu.
