Was going to run some errands but I guess my truck will stay under the carport for a little while.

This watch will likely be expanded later. For now, just read that text on the left side. Widespread hail up to the size of apples. No, that doesn’t mean widespread hail that size, but that shows the potential we are dealing with, if even only in isolated areas.

Yeah, it is never a good idea to travel with hail the size a truck nuts falling from the sky.

Some little supers going in Mississippi, with a good hailer about to move into Jackson.
Seeing a few mesos trying to get going in Louisiana. This should be the start and eventually these will cluster and get moving toward the south.

Happy Easter Delta.
I see the rotation but it's broad. Probably a mesocyclone but there will be difficulties putting down tornadoes today. I am watching that cell further south near Sumerall though.

Not a big tornado threat today. I haven't had much of a chance to really look for hail as things got going.

I know there was a report of "hen egg" sized hail in Jackson today. The person who reported it used an easter egg to determine that.

You too!
Hope the kid had a good one. Everyone else too, of course.
