It’s not hurting anyone and people on this board live all over the southeast. Just don’t open it if you don’t like it

Ive got to say, Ive got some doubts at this point too.

Not that there wasnt ever a tornado on the ground but there should have been more damage reports if the tornado was a wedge on the ground like implied by a tore

Something is going down on I55. Watching the camera and power goes off, vehicles pulled off to the shoulder.

Its brutal for the radar ops and warning met when you're at best getting returns from like 11,000 ft in the air with the lack of radar coverage there.

Plus you're getting multiple spotters telling you there's a tornado on the ground.

But the footage ive seen to this point of the "tornado" isnt a tornado.

Reports of damage at a dock or marina with boats flipped, lines and poles down.

I haven't seen good video either. But, damage reports keep coming in even from fire and rescue.

Yeah, I’ve seen some say that the “tornado” that prompted the tornado emergency north of Jonesboro was actually a rain shaft. That said, damage such as flipped cars would seem to indicate that there was a tornado.

I think everyone's view of this is clouded by the wording of the warnings. Take away that and look at the nature of that storm. It was weird from the beginning. It didn't have "Violent, long-track" looks.

I believe it will be up/down damage that will gradually come in and the survey will be spotty.

Could have been from strong wind that wasnt a tornado based on the reports ive seen.

Im voicing doubts to having a strong tornado. Not that there wasnt a tornado at points. The storm survey will show the truth of the matter.

ETA: yeah legend, its more what a tore implies about a strong/violent tornado vs one that is lifting and dropping.

I agree.

We will find out tomorrow.

One thing for sure is that it produced some mega hail.

That's where I am. Between the wording of the warnings and a few chasers with hurt feelings from missing out, we have the issue we see now.
