The Forester is a hell of a chase vehicle imo.
AWD and get some all terrains on it. Reasonably affordable, good gas mileage, reliable, and low enough profile not to get blown over unless you really fricked up.

Looks like there might be a secondary circulation forming on the Iowa storm, forming back to the southeast of the primary circulation.

He still owns a couple of those vehicles. Truth be told they were slow, unreliable, and generally a hassle. They were a one shot deal with storms with any kind of speed.
