the tornado sirens have already gone off twice where I live but its only real windy right now
Looks like a tornado is going to come onshore from the GOM between Gulf Shores and Pensacola.

Probably lost the tap of warm air due to that cell about to roll into OB/PCola.

Hey bud, warm me if I need to get in my laundry room please.

Looking rough for GS and OB to Pensacola right now
I wonder what a significant tornado would look like coming out of the GOM. I've seen plenty of water spouts, but an EF3+ tornado would be something else I'd imagine.

Well the good news for you is Fox just switched over to Wheel of Fortune so you are going to be fine

Cool. I hate that fricking dog.
You can come drink beer for the next hurricane/tropical storm.

I wish I was at the Turquoise in Gulf Shores on a condo balcony watching this magnificent storm and possible tornado come in. I'd probably jump into it because that's a good way to go.

I have dreams about tornados at the beach all the time. They look pretty cool coming out of the gulf.

Too bad it's getting dark, or that'd be a hell of a show.

Looks like there may be something going on northwest of Monroeville, AL.
Perhaps those of you fortunate enough to have RadarScope installed can get us a screen cap of that area.

Not a great pic but this looks like 4 damage to me.

Most of the other looks 2 or 3.
I saw that sign fall over right before the truck flew across the median from 10east to 10west.

rds dc, I'm sure you can answer this if you have a moment:
Is there anything that would inhibit a tornado from developing into EF4 or EF5 status over the GOM? If not, would it look like a typical wedge tornado you see on the plains?

I didn't, but I've spent $10 on much worse things before, and the radar quality it provides is pretty impressive for a phone app. Hell, I'm on a computer and the pictures others have posted is better than what I can generate here.
