That was one of the most intense videos I’ve ever seen.
I’ve watched a few go by, but to have something like that hit at night and to know there were casualties… doesn’t get much more real than that.

There's the reason for the Moderate upgrade. If we see these storms progress eastward and stay discrete/semi-discrete we're gonna have problems. That's a pretty juiced environment that rapidly rebounded after the morning storms.

Yes, it did. The town hall had several trees on it. My brother tried to go help a friend to get two trees off of his trucks, but he could not get to him. Entire trees were unrooted and power lines were down everywhere. Fortunately he has a generator setup along with solar panels.

The cell near Grove, Ok is concerning to me.

It’s very dark looking north from Bentonville

Wicked looking storm coming into NWA on radar

I’m looking outside north towards Bell Vista and it looks bad.

Brett Adair has a live drone shot of a tornado. He’s a good distance away from it but you can make it out on the video.

In Bella Vista, we got some light hail but the main storm was north of us. Crazy 2 days.

Confirmed tor east of Springfield, MO near Houston.

Looks like we'll have these early supercells moving east. Eventually, this mostly lines out going into western KY and TN and becomes a rough southish diving MCS. I'm betting that 45% hatched area for damaging winds verifies.
HRRR also has a cell or two riding in front of the line for a bit, and some cells on the southern extent that will need watching.

They were just showing it on Fox Weather Channel.

On TWC we have gone from a TORCON 3 to a 5 here in north AL. I think we’re all pretty weary of all this violent weather.
We have had two tornadoes in our neighborhood in the last 9 months ( EF0 and EF3)…. both traveling from southwest to northeast on the TN river towards us to do it’s damage. Looks like a 1am to about a 5 am window. Nighttime storms are horrifying.

Southeastern Missouri may be one of the worst radar holes in the country.

That tornado travelling pretty much parallel to US-60 in Missouri is starting to look nasty.

Why is that?
Probably terrain more than anything else.

Also warned for lime sized hail.

Watching Copics stream he’s running into some good size hail

Fox Weather is showing their stormchasers having to stop and take a chainsaw to a tree blocking the road they are on.
