Has anyone looked at the radar lately? There's a massive cell heading right for Ascension Parish later. Potential for rotation with it soon.

It's pretty dark in South Baton Rouge and the dogs started to get clingy so looks like the storms are starting here.

That cell looks more like a Baton Rouge pass than Ascension imo.

I'm glad to see all this minor convection ahead of the best dynamics. Lowers our risk, specifically for tornadoes.

A smaller cell did pop up to the NW of the semi large cell that just crossed the Thibodaux area.

Duke is referencing the squall line developing out between Lake Charles and Lafayette I believe.
