Headed E at 78 mph would be best. Now.

That shouldn't be a big deal right now. Wouldnt push it too late.

If an option, she could just roll out in the morning and come in behind it.

Shouldn't be a big deal leaving at like midnight or rolling into Laffy at 10 am

Sorry. Was looking at futurecast radar. He can probably leave by 7 pm. Has to be better than driving tomorrow.

Looks like the Cap is breaking East Greenville down to Gun Barrel

No idea what his starting point is but I promise you - not kidding - there is nothing here. Yet. Point him to 20 and if he can simply avoid the bumper ahead of him, he'll make it to 20. Hammer down East.

Thanks for all the info. Just can’t get everything together in time. He’s going to head out behind it around 6:30ish tomorrow morning.

Ha. I have a bunch of girls over swimming with my 6 year old niece. I’d have to round them all out of pool and get all their things together while he packed them up. Tomorrow morning is fine. I don’t get to see her enough.

In collaboration with SPC, portions or all of the area may be upgraded to MODERATE risk should certain parameters come in line based on this evening`s balloon data and subsequent model runs. CHAP output is hitting on EF0 to EF3 tornado potential and this is in line with the Effective Layer STP analogs, suggestive of EF4+ potentials. Gust potential is in the 55 to 65 kt range, hail generally marble size but can be larger. Convection should end from west to east with frontal passage in the evening hours, thinking all areas will be cleared by midnight.

That’s what I was thinking looking at the radar just now. I think I would have to leave at 5 or 6

Driving from Dallas to New Orleans at 630 tomorrow morning is not a good idea.

ETA - I see it's Dallas to Lafayette, but still, you want to be at your destination by 10 to be safe

He wouldn’t be behind it then? If it will be through Laffy around 3:00, seems he could leave around 8:00ish?

He'd be better off leaving at 10:30 than he would be leaving at 6:30. You don't want to be getting to Lafayette after 10AM or before 4PM if you can avoid it.

That’s the problem. He has to be at a new job at 4:00 pm tomorrow.
