There are not hits. This isn't a boxing match. This isn't karate. This isn't anything fancy.
No one wants to be the guy that gets in the bar fight and kicks a dude square in the nuts. That isn't "cool" or "manly," so your prejudices are still alive and well in this one. Men want a fist fight, an exchange of blows. That's the "beauty" that I'm talking about. That's the "idea" of a fist fight. You still think this ends in hits. Tyson giving and taking punches. Tyson probably disagrees with you though too.
When two people truly want to hurt, you don't just go to fisticuffs. This ends in a kick to the junk, a neck punch, a broken ankle, a bite. It would be ugly, not pretty. It would be truly dangerous, not limited. You're still closed in this idea of one man punching another because they raise their fists and go toe to toe. That's not happening, or it shouldn't.

I'm comprehending fine. You're saying that the fight would come down to who gets the first damaging blow. So let's say they are squaring off and neither is cheap shotting the other. You really think Bruce Lee can get close to Iron Mike or any other professional fighter for that matter and not get royally fricked up? He was a very athletic actor/fight choreographer/stuntman nothing more.

I really don't think most people understand that Tyson was a true unicorn. When d'amato found him he was in his young teens beating grown men in street fights. People need to let that sink for a second. Imagine a 13 year old hitting you hard enough to knock you out. Your not comparing apples to apples hear. In an unregulated street fight Tyson would be in my opinion one of the scariest men on the planet.

Well one is trained to use only hands and the other trained his entire body to be a lethal weapon.
That being said. Tyson would win in the ring but Bruce would win in the street.
So I guess the real answer is Bruce Lee.
