Lee for sure. Tyson's fighting style-up close and personal- would be his downfall. Lee could atack from all angles and distances. His power to weight ration was truly amazing. Every ounce of his body weight/strength was channeled into every punch. Dude could snap boards from in inch away. Think about that- hold your fist an inch away from something, anything and see how much power/force you an generate.
Don't get me wrong, Tyson in his prime was unbeatable in the ring. I don't think a fighter alive today could have beaten him but lee was THE master.

Lee is going to have one shot to knock Tyson out cold if Tyson rushes him, because Tyson's first punch WILL knock Lee the **** out.
Tyson wins and wins quickly.
People are greatly underestimating how hard Lee could punch in this thread. He also wouldn't try to one hit KO Tyson.
If Tyson rushed him, Lee would deliver a body shot them move aside. He was that quick.

Lee almost never competed. Lee couldn't hold Chuck's jock.

yeah all these people saying "Lee and it wouldn't be close" need to reevaluate their lives. Tyson would manhandle that little Asian punk.

No way could a 130lb Lee hit Tyson hard enough to hurt him.
You must have never seen that guy hit in training then. I've watched Tyson in his prime live. Still one of the best imo but Lee would win this fight.

And people are underestimated how fricking crazy Tyson was in his prime.
I understand how fast Lee was but it's not like Tyson was some slow fatass
I take Tyson because of size and insanity
ETA: I would take 22 year old mike Tyson over just about anyone

Mike's best punch was his uppercut, that's up close. He had a sweet cross but his claim to fame and where he amassed his KO's was from that beauty of an uppercut. Inside fighting. I don't think he could have landed it on lee.
ETA In a ring, Tyson wouldn't win. In a phone booth, lee would be dead.

Bruce Lee would kill Tyson. Faster, stronger, smarter and can do way more things than just punch hard.
You really think lee is stronger than Tyson?

He was extremely strong for his weight.

People just enjoy the concept of the little guy beating up on the big bad guy, classic hero vs. villian outlook.

Tyson would murder him.
ETA: I'm laughing over here at the people who think Lee would run circles around Tyson.

Besides hitting like a ton of bricks, Tyson was also insanely fast for his size.
Does anyone know if Tyson knows karate?

tyson. tyson would destroy guys his size and bigger that were trained professionals in like 30 seconds. no way bruce lee could take more than a couple of hits from tyson.

But, but, but Lee could do a two finger push up.

No. He wouldn't. BL would be on him like a spider monkey. Tyson would never see him, let alone strike him. A better argument would be Chuck Norris vs Bruce Lee. Winner gets to whip Steven Segall's arse.

Now one here has ever read Lee's bio I'm guessing.
According to those close to him IIRC, Lee took out 3 bouncers about Tyson's size simultaneously in less than 8 seconds as a challenge.

I've done some research on his life. Lee was VERY strong.

I love Bruce Lee, but he was not a competitor. He was an actor and a teacher. Tyson was a professional, heavyweight boxer.
Lee's only chance would be to take Tyson down.
