Anyone have any exp with this or testimonials? Really just wanting to know if it works and if it does , does it make you feel like shite waking up?

Hated taking it. Hated it. Make it hard to breathe from the nose.
I'd much rather have two 1mg xanax before bed.

It will sedate you but it is not a "sedative" in the traditional sense. It is an antipsychotic.
If you cannot sleep due to bipolar issues/schizo attacks/depression, it may help.
But like I said, it can make you sleepy, too.
Did the doc just not want to try a traditional sleep aid or do you have mood problems?

I'm prescribed zolpidem, it makes me feel great after a nights sleep. although it makes you feel goofy as heck until you fall asleep.

My wife took that for a long time, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder early on. We have been working together to get her off of it. She's done well until she stopped completely a few weeks ago. She's still dealing with issues like headaches and lack of sleep, but its getting better. She read on some medical website withdrawals from Seroquel are similar to withdrawals from heroine in drug addicts.
I'm letting you know this because my wife made me get on here and write this when I asked if that was the drug she used to take. So take it from me and her, don't get on it.
BTW she did sleep, but she couldn't get up most of the time until noonish unless she had to for work. She was always tired.
Just don't get on Seroquel.

I took it for sleep back in 2005 when I was detoxing off of OxyContin. It knocked me out! I was on many other detox drugs though.

The only thing that puts me to sleep
It's a god send

Stop taking that mess and smoke some weed unless you're borderline or schizophrenic.
Posted on 6/17/15 at 11:23 pm to LarrytheGolfer
But weed is illegal Bc it's not safe like seroquel

Low doses of Xanax work well. Zolipidem is the generic Ambien and it works well. Don't know about this Seriquel.

You build up a tolerance to ambien and Xanax quickly
And Xanax wears off too soon to give you a full night's rest

Maybe I am lucky. Been using both for years on a rotation without a large dosage increase and still effective or me.

Not if you take it like I used to.

Stick with a safe and effective substance like whiskey

Um Xanax > that
Far more safe especially in low doses. That stuff makes people gain weight. That's a hardcore anti psychotic. Surprised they gave you that just for sleep

Please try natural remedies if you can.
Light Xanax if you must.
Tart cherry juice, taurine (very affordable), and a tea known as Passion flower all can help with sleeping.
