Nastase is an absolute piece of shite

Not arguing that.

I asked:

Don't take it as my way of exonerating him, just asking a question.

I think making private convos public suck. I agree with you

However, knowing Nastase, I don't think this convo was very private. He likely was being as loud and obnoxious as possible to a crowd

I also don't think this was meant as a light joke either. I think he meant it as a slight to mixed children

I'm going to be honest, I don't see how that's remotely "racist." It may be inappropriate and impolite, but there's nothing fundamentally racist in his statement.

I agree. Amazing how fast the race card comes out these days. Even more amazing is how little effect the race card has these days with normal people.

When you are equally douchey towards everyone, it really isn't racist.

Is it racist in terms of Nastase was saying blacks are underneath whites and should be ruled by them? No, it is not racist by the actual definition.

Is it racist in the everyday sense that he was making fun of a mixed race baby? I believe it was

Well, she didn't want a baby with a black man, so maybe she's racist.

How was he making fun of mixed race babies by saying that? People hear what they want to hear.

Don't blacks like to refer to themselves as chocolate? So it's racist when someone uses the same descriptive word and adds milk as the color of the white guy?

He's saying that Alex Ohanian is a cuck? Questioning whether it will be mixed or not

Knowing Reddit, I would place good money on him being a cuck

You have to know who said the comments. Nastase is not someone who wanted that to be a light joke. He wanted it to be a slight.

He was a loud mouth attention grabbing prick when he was a player so anything he says now does not surprise me. He probably thought it was funny.

Vanilla is a commonly used term to explain that something is bland or lacking creativity. Negative term.

Vanilla can apparently be used to describe white people.

Racist.

No - apparently, it's racist to speculate about her having a mixed-race kid, when she is black and her husband is white.

Personally, I think the kids should be off limits, but it is what it is. He's always been like this - IMHO, he doesn't mean anything by it, except that he wants attention.

It's the Obama rule... white + black = black... the plan is for Serena's baby to be a black icon of the future
