I currently have option A but have the option of using B if they install some monitoring app shite.
I’m not letting them know what kind of porn I watch so I carry 2 phones.

I don't get either and 95% of my phone/data is for the company.

Get a flip phone for your personal calls....

A. It’s been the best choice I’ve made. Carrying 2 phones isn’t a big deal when you consider the massive advantage of being able to put away/turn off the work phone after business hours, weekends, and vacation time. Clients I work with know that after 7ish that number will more than likely go to voicemail because it’s my family time.

I guess I’m in the minority but I have no desire to have work life and personal life mix.
A place I worked had two options for management that was hugely contentious. Either you got a company phone, or you download some apps with some nice tracking technology and recording technology that follows you everywhere you go. Technically, you had to turn it on for that to be activated but we had our doubts. Every email we sent and every call we made was recorded in the office.
I think only the Sr managers got the app. Everyone else just had a separate work phone because people refused to be followed.

You can also have one cell phone with dual SIM cards (ie 2 different phone numbers).

I've had option B for probably 15 years. It has never been a problem.
