Sure if they had criminals there. Notice how there aren't criminals living in the same areas as bears anywhere in the world......

It should include recreational but I guess we need to walk first before we can run.

Legalizing medical marijuana nationwide would be a huge step toward recreational legalization

Two democrats and Rand Paul. Watch and see who's bought and paid for...

Meanwhile in Colorado, where life is considered terrific by most every measure, I just bought some new wax (Tahoe og) and a qtr of Gorilla Glue. Prices are going down in these parts.

Please keep it illegal, we're rolling in it over here.

I'm a snob too. That's why I went medical. Some of best I've tried from anywhere in town, was from a $100 oz. Some of the more expensive places might have more consistent quality, but not always.

But really, most regular smokers will end up also using concentrates like shatter or wax. And those are 60-90% the, vs top shelf buds that have 15-25%. Then of course, you also have your caviar, which is buds dipped in honey oil and covered in kief. That'll keep you on the couch for certain.

But I'm cheap, and will drive across town for a good deal and to try a new dispensary. I even know a spot that has great quality, and sells their ozs of shake for $50 on Saturdays.

He's got to be a troll. Nobody is THAT stupid. He mentions the founding fathers but forgets to add that Washington and Jefferson raised cannabis.

Farmer's used to pay their taxes in hemp. Where do you think "joint return" came from.

I'm in Denver. Though I'm getting sent to work back in Louisiana for a few months. But the shake is at Sweet Leaf on Tejon. I think it might be med only.

Cool, I'm up I25 a ways. My favorite near Denver was Sacred Seed. What a smell greets you at the door. First class buds but expensive.

Med is the way to go.

I'm sure it is out west but if BR had a dispensery, it would definitely be better than its black market counterpart.

If I lived where it was legal I would only use wax and shatter.

Plus alcohol isn't even a drug, much less a dangerous narcotic like marijuana is

Tap the brakes, brah. First of all, alcohol IS a drug - or at least it contains a drug - a fairly dangerous one - ethanol - you know, the shite they run Indy cars on? In pure form it is quite easy to drink yourself to death and youngsters from various fraternities and drinking clubs could attest if they hadn't drunk themselves to death.

MJ isn't even a drug - it's a plant. It just grows out of the ground like that. You ain't got to do shite to it. And you can't smoke yourself to death.

Oh, you might think that motherfricker's dead. But he's going to wake up in about an hour and eat everything in your refrigerator.

And another thing - the 9/11 call has never been made, "My husband came home, smoked 2 joints and beat up me and the kids." But replace that story with "whiskey" or "beer" - all too common occurrence.

And I'm a teetotaler from all of it, so I have no agenda.

I'm an old school flower man, but recently, I've been adding a little wax to the bowl. Nice change of pace. The taste is nice.

The advancements in delivery systems has exploded. Concentrates, edibles, vaping, on and on will shock others from illegal states.

Imagine this, no seeds, no stems, no leaves, just trimmed cured bud. And if you think you can grow better? Go for it.

I'm pretty old school myself. I just started trying dabs a couple months ago, and I like it. I hated vaping flowers. But I like the shatter and wax. Though too much, and your tolerance behind absurd. A little balance is key.

Rec will continue to get better and cheaper. I'm curious what some of the brands on get market will become. I tried some from kindman, which is the first prepackaged rec sold to multiple dispensaries. It wouldn't have been worth it without a coupon, but the I was $106 a/ tax, and it was good. But not best, but I can see it being popular for occasional smokers who don't know what to look for, or just like name brands.

I didn't say it should be legal genius, I said people are going to regret it being legal. Where do you think ghetto people get money these days besides welfare.......they slang weed! When weed is legal and corporations take it over where are the ghetto people going to get money? Well...they are either going to rob your nice white neighborhood or take your $ in the form of taxes.

Also, we SHOULD need less prisons, prison guards, attorneys, police, border patrol, IRS, parole officers etc but we aren't going to let that happen. We will have just as many and they are going harassing white middle class people that don't do shite wrong during their free time.

Those are just a couple of reasons. The additional $ we make from taxes aren't going to come anywhere near making up from the net loss in our economy you retard.

I'm all for legalization and criticizing police actions, but this adjective is like nails on a chalkboard every time I read it.

if you look to the places that it was legalized recreational, the prices have sky rocketed....

That's because of the heavy taxes imposed by the state and federal government. Prices for recreational marijuana are higher than that of medical marijuana.
I started growing my own months ago. We're allowed to grown up to 6 plants at a time here in Colorado. I have neighbors who also grow and we exchange the different strains that each of us grow.

Colorado imposed a 15 percent excise tax on wholesale marijuana and a 10 percent sales tax on retail sales. That's in addition to a pre-existing 2.9 percent tax on medical marijuana. Local governments will keep 15 percent of sales tax revenue, while the rest of the money will stay with the state

Colorado, the first state to tax legalized recreational marijuana sales, expects to bring in an estimated $98 million in revenue this year, exceeding the state's original expectations by 40 percent.

Well, at least the state is making a lot of money.

Your argument could possibly be valid if OP cited drops in drug related arrests, but OP described drops in burglaries, murders, and rapes.
