Tap the brakes, brah. First of all, alcohol IS a drug - or at least it contains a drug - a fairly dangerous one - ethanol - you know, the shite they run Indy cars on? That's because of the heavy taxes imposed by the state and federal government. Prices for recreational marijuana are higher than that of medical marijuana.
I started growing my own months ago. We're allowed to grown up to 6 plants at a time here in Colorado. I have neighbors who also grow and we exchange the different strains that each of us grow.

Your argument could possibly be valid if OP cited drops in drug related arrests, but OP described drops in burglaries, murders, and rapes.
