Long time AT&T customer. Long story made short, DirectTV pissed me off, so I'm planning to switch to Dish and while I'm at it, I figured I would see if there are better options for cell service.

I pay roughly $190 a month for two lines of unlimited phone, text and internet.

You can get two lines at sprint for $125.00 a month unlimited text/calls/data if you bring your own phone.

Watch them a holes though, they will try to add stuff to your bill such as insurance etc

I've always been Verizon.

Service is great but it's too damn expensive.

Major cell service companies are scam artists.

Something like Straight Talk would be better.

2 phones, unlimited text and phone, with 4gbs of internet for $100 at verizon.

Never a dropped call. Was with ATT about 5-6 years ago, and our calls would drop so often, if there was ever a pause in the conversation, we would automatically assume the call had drooped.

I can't understand how you would use more then 4gb but apparently most people do.

When we are home the phones are on wifi and that uses no data, so again, I don't understand how people use so many gbs.

Of course my wife and I are normal people. When we are in public we actually talk to other people, and do not play on our phones 24/7.

ATT lost three lines, internet, all because of direct tv.
The most frustrating experience(s) ever.
We went to Verizon cell and Cox internet, and bought the Apple TV 4th edition, installed Ps Vue as our TV carrier and are pleased.

Look into H2O wireless if you want to continue using att towers. Mint is really cheap, but you need to use TMobile towers

same here. I suspended my account while building my house instead of paying the $450 to cancel the contract. They've re-started services on it without alerting me twice now, first time $180, the second time $300, that they will not waive or refund. The cancellation charge now is $100. So i'll end up paying $580..

We are probably about to switch from Verizon to Xfinity mobile. Same network and much cheaper. I believe you need a Comcast double bundle at least to get it.

T-Mobile. Free Netflix and your bill will be about 100 bucks for unlimited everything on two lines.

How long have you been with them and what is your experience so far? Never heard of it but interested in looking into it.

I’ve had straight talk for a couple years now. 45 per month. Couldn’t be happier with the service.

Well any dense population center will be fine with Verizon/TMO.

Rural is more than likely 1900Mhz sites that are still WCDMA / GSM and Verizon dominates that. However, TMO is making a big push to grow its rural coverage while also blanketing urban environments with LTE-A and soon to be 5G.

As of now:

1) Verizon
2) TMO
3) ATT
4) Sprint //Unit TMO merger

We use Verizon. It works but it is too expensive.
$267/month
23gb data
3 iphones
1 LG gizmo pal 2 watch
One of those phones is my SIL and she uses more data than the rest of us.
Can't complain about the service but wish it was cheaper.

If you have Spectrum for internet, you can use their cell service, which basically piggybacks on Verizon but is much cheaper. 2 lines unlimited (20 gigs each line before possible throttling) and an iPhone XS and XS Plus for $193 a month. The phones are $100 of the bill and that cost goes away after 2 years.

Service has been perfect everywhere except inside the PMAC
