I think we already have functional invisibility in the classified part of the military. I hear we are 5 years or less from being able to have selected use on the battlefield, 10 from widespread availability. (That’s if they want to release it.)

Yeah and see-through vision would ruin the mystery. You’d get all you needed of that quickly I’m guessing. You’d still need to be a little stealthy to creep with invisibility. You’d have to work for it at least.

There is no way I would ever use my powers of invisibility to go back stage to a Victoria's Secret lingerie show.
ETA: Actually, based on current models...nevermind. I'll find some other way to creep without having to see beached whales.
