Never frick with a man's dog. It still pisses me off when I hear the story of the punks who shot Marcus Lutrell's dog in his yard and tried to get away. Marcus handled his business but what kind of low life shoots a dog.

My Boerboel (South African Mastiff) was around $1400 and that was with a "pet contract" (I agreed not to breed her). If you bought a male it was more like $1800 and the breeder had rights to its sperm if it grew up to be a good looking dog.

So yeah, $2k probably isn't too far off

. The puppy is also microchipped, the owner said, giving him a better chance of getting home.

I saw this video last night while watching our local news in bed and honestly had trouble getting to sleep after that.

Unfortunately, if they are caught, the slap on the wrist they receive will be laughable.

Theft really should be a capital offense at this point.

That's good. This left me in a pretty bad mood being the last thing I saw before I went to sleep last night.

Looks like a rural area, and they have footage of the two and their car. Someone local knows them. Based on the way the car is facing they should have gotten the plates as they pulled away, no way they don't catch them.
