I live in the Bay Area I have ridden the lifts with worse....rude pretentious skiers and boarders.

I had to look up fruitboot and was worried about what I might find.

Wintergreen isn't much of a ski area. And it was even less when I went. There were only 7 slopes back when I went. IIRC, there was Potato Patch, Dobie, Eagle Swoop, and some others. There are some steeper slopes on the other side of Dobie now.
I've also been to Ski Beech in NC. Not much there, either.
But better than anything in Alabama.

Damn, how long ago were you there?
It's small for sure. They all are really in VA, NC, WVA.
When I skied there in the 80s there were more slopes than that.
I think they claim 27 runs now but that includes all the cut through lanes too.

Safety hazard not having your hands free.
That's why I fill my bladder up with 151 and lemonade crystal light. No worries, all the weed I smoke on the lift puts me in the zone.
