Vail extended the season for a week.

In other news, Wolf Creek is deep and getting deeper. Just took the cat past Knife Ridge to Horeshoe Bowl. Blower, untouched powder.

$43 lift ticket today. Gonna ski here two days and eat lunch both days for just over $100. This place is legit.

Hiking up knife ridge gets sketchy in a few spots.

The cat to the bowl is worth being packed into that sardine can of a metal basket.

That bowl was nearly untouched the last few times I've gone up there.

WC is small but has all the freshies you want when it dumps.

Cat was empty. Haven't shared a lift in two days here. Heading to Dog Chutes next

Right past the staircase is a sketchy hike. Sent the chute right past the staircase twice. So nice. And because I didn't want to keep hiking. Wind was so bad yesterday.

Yeah. I was headin to Vail this morning and the pass was backed up behind slow trucks or a plow so I bailed and came to Breck to ski with a buddy.

Gaper Day tomorrow at ABasin.

Hard to believe Keystone closing this weekend. Some of the best conditions of the year right now. A Basin will be good well into May probably.

Went to Copper Mountain last week. The snow was fantastic but the altitude kicked our butts. Got clipped by a snow boarder 10 seconds off the first lift. This was the first time ever in Colorado. Can't wait to go again as this year was a learning experience.

Steamboat is about 3000' lower than the other big name Colorado resorts, and in my opinion has a fantastic ambience.

Check it out next year.

You got me but I'm honing in on 100. Day 98 today. Ski'd some crazy powder at Breck. Major wind event and lotta avy activity. Took forever for them to even open peak 6. Heavy and grabby but soft. Still had a solid day on the slopes.

Got a farmers tan skiing Vail Monday in a tshirt. Had some great skiing once it softened up. Fun day.

Sending Kings cliff in Contest Bowl @ Breck today

Yeah. Someone told me that today. As we were standing under Peak 8 super connect.

So empty at Breck compared to most times. Guess someone got going to fast. They were looking for witnesses to the accident this morning on the radio from what I've heard.

Steamboat closing day today. Not even gonna ski. Posting up at a bar for the Masters and Leftover Salmon concert.

So who's ready to start planning some trips next year? I'm gonna try and take a month to go all over the place next February. JHole for sure. Wanna ski Tahoe area, especially Squaw. Gonna try and spend a week or two around Park City. Really wanna ski more of the Cottonwood resorts. And my twin brother is moving to Montana so I wanna go hit up Big Sky and Bridger.

Is that drive sketchy during the winter?

I'm from Louisiana and hate driving in the mountains when it's snowing. Had a bad experience during a blizzard a few years back where I thought I might die, has turned me into a pussy.
