This week's storms are shaping up to be quite powdery. I'll be heading up Thursday after work to get after Friday. Not sure which hill yet though, pretty music base it on the morning's snow reports, as well as previous 72 hours of reports.

It's looking like the places closest to the divide will get hit the hardest

Beaver Creek is all time right now. Lapping Stone Creek Chutes. So steep and deep. I got way more than I bargained for sending a cliff. Easily the most technical and gnarliest I've hit all year. And I had a big crowd to watch me. Little kid kept talking shite before I hit it.

Tweaked my shin on the landing. Taking a break at the lodge now.

Heal up man. I saw you were skiing Rossi soul 7's. I'm looking at getting a pair of the 188s or the blizzard Cochise. You have any thoughts on that?

I got stuck in the city due to work, and it is crazy here. I'm looking at about 14 inches of snow outside my window. I may try to trek toward Vail this evening, but it would be a long and painfully slow drive

My adult skiing has all been done on Rossi with majority on these Soul 7s. With that said, I love them. Early rise with the rocker is very nice for pow and crud alike. Very playful and nimble for a powder ski. I've skid every day but 1 since December on these. Every condition imaginable. They can be a one ski quiver for sure. I wanna get a fat pair of pow skis for next year and an AT setup.

I got a great pro deal for skis and bindings for the Souls through my ski shop so I couldn't turn it down.

I need to demo more skis. Might try and work at a free ski shop next season so I can just ride whatever the shop has.

Making sloppy slow front side laps at the Beave. Too good to stop. Hot tub soak and some Colorado medication will be needed later.

Where ya heading?

I am beat, but probably hitting first chair somewhere tomorrow. Maybe ABasin and head to work at 1:30. Snows kinda on hold right now in Summit seems.

Denver got absolutely pounded. Wish I had tomorrow off and I'd go to Winter Park or Eldora.

Man. It looks crazy down there. Roads are clear and dry up here now pretty much. Vail Pass was a breeze. Gotta love easy travel powder days.

Those roundabouts at Beaver Creek are death traps though. People are insane.

Im heading to winter park in 6 days. I wonder how long the airport will be closed, surely not for long. How long for a storm like this to melt out. highs about 50 for the next week. some snow saturday. I here Denver is known for snowing alot one day, then being gone the next.

I drove I 70 in the snow once, and it was one of the scariest experiences of my life. I dont know how to drive in the snow, and seeing a car in the ditch every mile really made me uneasy. I had 4 wheel drive and remember the tires spinning before they caught traction, and the SUV would drift down the pitch of the road towards the cliff.

Slow and steady. Let the tires catch before you gas it anymore. I only have front wheel drive but got snow tires this winter. The snow tires turned my Rogue into a beast. Day 85 today for me skiing and I've driven to every one of them in all conditions.

Denver could melt off by tomorrow but I think it's supposed to stay stormy, at least up here in the high country. The front end of the storm is normally the shittier part for travel. They should be on top of it by the time you get here if it's not gone completely by then.

My flight from Houston to Denver got cancelled yesterday as well. What a pain in the arse. Now on a flight Friday morning and then driving out to stay in Frisco. Skiing Saturday through Tuesday and planning on splitting it up between all 3 of the resorts in the area - Breck, Copper, Keystone.

All should be getting a nice handful of pow between yesterday and Friday.

Nice half day at Breck. Lift lines on powder days at Breck suck for most of the best terrain. I get lift line anxiety and get frustrated.

Lift lines at Breck suck all the time. I've said it before and I'll say it a thousand more times; frick that place. The past few days have been great but it's about to dry up before some snow starts again mid next week

Currently posted up in the back of my car outside Wolf Creek. Hopefully the powder pays off. Then the plan is to swing up to Crested Butte after WC tomorrow.

You couldn't get a closer spot in the Wolf Creek parking lot. And its dumping.
