Kind of lengthy, but well worth the time to watch.

Now we know where Ross Perot got his chart idea.

The thought of Ross Perot still ticks me off. His asinine presidential run in ‘92 gave Clinton the presidency one term early, and bled out the middle ground electoral vote for GHWB.

Love that guy. I hope and pray that we have leaders of this caliber in our military today.

Ah, had the wrong guy. Whoops!

I want to say one of the guys of that era was a draftee. Thought it was cool but can't recall who.

We finally had pride in our military after the Gulf War and went and fricked it up with OIF and having no exit strategy or the resources to win OEF. Damn shame.

HRP made GHWB's campaign more difficult, but at day's end, GHWB shot himself in the foot with his refusal to admit that the economy was in a slump and his backtracking on the "no new taxes" pledge (even though those taxes were primarily responsible for the balanced budgets and budget surpluses of the 90s that Clinton got the credit for). It's a free country, though. As long as you're a registered voter, a natural-born citizen, and at least 35 by the time of inauguration, you can run for president.

There was also much more between Perot and Bush that went back to his Bush's days at CIA. Perot was the money man behind some deals to bring home POWs and for other pay-for-play clandestine operations that couldn't be conducted with taxpayer dollars, but Bush double-crossed him on a major deal and Perot was looking for payback, according to a CIA guy I've talked to.

And, let's not discount the fact that Clinton, regardless of what you think of him otherwise, ran a helluva campaign.

We don't. Simply put. Most of the generals and admirals need to be purged.

At the start of the Gulf War I was watching a Schwarzkopf presser with my dad. Dad said I went to West Point with that guy. I bet he's a great General. I asked why do you think he would be great General.

Dad said: I was a plebe when he was an upper class man. He was the biggest prick of all the upper class men. I was so glad when that SOB graduated.

He lived with in North Tampa back in the 90’s. You would see him occasionally. He was an absolute celebrity.

We get a few good ones come through every once in awhile, but then they get pushed out because of some PC bullshite. Patreus and McRaven being prime examples.
