Driver ticketed for hitting a biker that ran a red light. I'd be in court for that one.

When I still lived in El Segundo, CA, I would ride my bike a lot at 1 am.
It was 1/2 mile to the beach and the Marvin Braude Trail. Turn north and go to Marina del Rey or turn south and Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach or Redondo Beach. I would ride my bike with a flashlight in the dark on the trail after too many beverages. Would miss the occasional turn and faceplant in the sand.

Only people I ever seen riding a bike at 1am was those delivering nose candy.
