Amen. Both sides are so extreme on this topic but the common sense, as usual, is in the middle.
My household is pro-gay rights and all that jazz.
But I don't want my 7th and 9th grade daughters learning about Dildos and Bangin' Betties. That's what college is for.

how is “this should not be happening” extreme from the Right?
you’re embellishing just a smidge there Mikey. Ya know, of all topics to pick a side on…..this might be it. Instead of trying to play the fence sitter per usual. Just saying.
There’s a reason why the Lefties won’t chime in on this thread. Take a hint.

What world are you living in where “this is inappropriate” is apparently as “extreme” as “take children to sex shops”?

Would be a real shame if that place burned down, just sayin’.
Also, taking a class from that wildebeest to learn how to have sex sounds like the least sexy thing on God’s green earth.

Never had a problem with the L's and the G's ...To each their own and whatnot.
The B's are kinda greedy imo.
No idea what the Q's are.
But the T's and P's can frick right off, and the +'s too.

one side hasn’t changed, one has advocated for chopping off the breasts and genitals of children
which one of those positions seems extreme to you?

Jeezus. Sorry for the confusion.
I'll answer you and klark Kent. I'm not talking about this incident in particular.
I'm picking on the extremes of the topic of gender/sex education in school:
"Don't Say Gay" folks on one side who don't want their kids to know their teacher is married to the member of the same sex. That's extreme.
And the Drag Queen Story time at a sex toy store. That's extreme.
Sorry about that.

You MFer.
I'm no fence sitter. I don't want my kids going to drag story time. I don't want my kids exposed to dicks and dildos and trannies in grade school.
I don't want my daughters sharing bathrooms with dudes with a dress on.
But I don't care if my kids know their 4th grade teacher is gay. Some adults marry the other sex and some marry the same sex. That's perfectly fine. But that's where it starts and ends for their young minds. That teacher better not talk about dicks, pussies, and buttholes or wear drag to class. See? I'm not a fricking fence sitter.
You're trying to label me a fence sitter but I won't have it, sassy pants. I take a stand where I decide to. Not where you or some party tells me to.
You're a puss and Scruffy is your dom daddy.

Mikey,
The phrase “Don’t Say Gay” is completely manufactured by the media and the Left. It never says the word “Gay” in the bill. Full stop.
The bill outlaws teaching children under the age of 8 about gender identity and sexual orientation.
Again, this isn’t an extreme stance. I’m not sure why the Left and the media are soo defensive when it comes to this bill? Why is that? It also isn’t an extreme position to suggest that there should be no discussion in a classroom for that age or younger on religion, politics, sex, intimacy, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
This is a fairly common belief by the vast majority of parents in this country. There’s polling data proving such. Your argument to paint the Right as extreme on the topic of LGBT isn’t working. Our position hasn’t ever changed, it’s the Left that’s gone extreme.
