This is so dumb I am almost expecting to find out later that the other women really pushed her in and murdered her.

Love triangle between the woman and the couple...they decided to kill her and feed her to the gators. Must’ve watched tiger king on Netflix.

Now they will probably put down the gator

You are probably right. I’m not an animal rights nut or anything but I find this fundamentally wrong. The gator was just doing gator things, she came to him. The gator didn’t go looking for her.

We have to stop keeping these people alive with product warning labels.

It's amazing that she made it to 58

That shot the gator in the head with a 9mm immediately after it happened.

I’ve been going to Kiawah for over 30 years. There are some massive gators there but they don’t last long because they get rid of them due to these dangers. There are signs everywhere saying beware of alligators yet I still see idiots every time I’m there getting too close, especially with small kids. We have a couple gators who live in the lagoon behind our house and I don’t even let the kids go in the backyard for that reason. That and the fact a 9 footer likes to sun himself between mine and the neighbors yard.

Gators used to stack up in this small bayou off Tchefuncte river in the evenings. This was years ago but probably still do. People with small kids used to feed them off the little car bridge and I've seen some idiots down on the bank letting their kids toss marshmallows into the water.

Hey dumb arse - your kid is the marshmallow.
