Saw something sad

So I'm driving to work this afternoon and I'm in midtown, driving towards downtown Houston and I see 2 kittens in the road.
Well one was half ran over and still alive and the other one was right by its side....pretty terrible sight....pretty much ruined my day/night....hopefully someone was able to stop...if I wasn't headed to work I would've stopped and gotten the one that wasn't ran over.
Pretty sad sight to see to say the least....I'm going to drive by there on the way home to see if there are 2 kittens ran over in the morning

I saw a baby arse kitten get run over in Lake Charles once. It really does frick you up. It's incredible that these animals have evolved to just be so unbelievably cute that humans irrationally want to feed them and let them live inside our houses.

It's a terrible feeling alright. A summer ago when I was in Gulfport, I was driving down 90 during rush hour when a cat ran out in front of my car. I had no choice but to keep going and nailed it. I'm an animal lover so I was sick but it was either that or slam on the brakes and cause a pile up or something. Of course the white trash in a truck behind me felt like I drove into it on purpose and tailed me yelling at me for a few blocks. Totally made the situation better.

I saw a kitten get run over once and it's mom tried to revive it by licking it. fricked me up as a kid.

I couldn't, both kittens were right next to each other....I was so close I could see them meowing.....I'm praying I'll only see one kitten on the road in the morning.....but it was like 5:20 and midtown was packed with cars

Man I backed over the legs of a kitten once and the momma cat wouldn't let me anywhere near it when I got out to check on it.
