Name me when NFL Divisional Round and College National Championship games were played back to back when a team from each game were basically home teams??

What NFL divisional round games have been played at neutral sites?

Because no CFBNC has been played in the divisional week.

This is a big NC for south louisiana, but it isn't bigger than recent title games.

Cowboys followed the Cotton Bowl this year too

They play in multiple stadiums that could have this issue. They have the kinks ironed out.

I’m still not sure what you’re getting at. The prep for the two games are no different.

It’s some banners being hung on the walls and a few changes in the locker room.

Field logos are painted on easily in the amount of time between games.

But stadiums turn over games/events overnight all the time. This isn’t unusual as noted above with other examples.

I realize that. But that wasn’t what I posted in the OP. Go back and reread

It’s not just a stadium. Its an entire city

You people just look for any little things to argue with me about instead of having a discussion.

Exactly my point

Why are you and Golfer trying to argue that it’s very common when you both know it’s not??

New Orleans hosts plenty of events with the number of people in town for the two games had they both occurred.

Now you know why Sean Payton didn't use that last timeout.

There is a 100 page Q thread about this on the Saints Board.

And that is assuming there are only two locker rooms. Which there are more in most stadiums for this reason.

Cowboys game showed the time lapse of the conversion this year.

It’s much more than that for the Superdome. They also change the seating in the lower bowl, they push back the sidelines.

They also allow each team the practice on the field.

If anything it is easier on NOLA infrastructure and hotels because a lot of people are going home to their own beds.

I already said your specific scenario wouldn’t be common because of how late the CFP is this year.

I’m pointing out that stadium crews across the country do similar things throughout the year: basketball to hockey to concerts to different football games, etc.

And if anything the fact that LSU has a strong local presence in New Orleans lessens the burden on the city with many locals/regional people attending the game.

Yes. It’s very common for event/sporting venues to host back to back events. Staples Center has had a hockey and a basketball game on the same day/night IIRC. And the hosted a concert the next night.
